An Exquisite Estate Unheated 1.04ct Burma Ruby and diamond Platinum Ring dating from c.1990 and featuring a gorgeous Unheated ruby from the famed mines of Mogok in Burma. The ruby is an almost pure hue of red, very typically Burmese and absolutely stunning. The ruby is not clean: in particular there is an area at the bottom of the stone with a patch of silk when viewed from a certain angle. But this is not visible when worn and this remains an extremely lively and bright gem, exceptionally pretty indeed. The diamonds are pretty baguettes totalling 0.80ct approx. Size 6 approx. A delicate and absolutely correct ring which is certain to appreciate in value as time goes by.
