The ring features a stunning star ruby of a simply delightful purple-maroon-red in colour - absolutely gorgeous! Origin is either Burma or Vietnam, both of which are highly sought after and collectible. As you can see, the gem is a little purplish under normal lighting and more red-purple when a penlight or direct light is shined on it. Very good translucency. No treatment whatsoever.
