A simply gorgeous and utterly unique estate Jewel set in solid 18k yellow gold, and featuring a stunning, completely unheated and untreated Ruby from Mogok in Burma. The beautifully made ring is approximately 60-80 years old. The star of the show is certainly however the wonderful unheated Ruby which is of a delightful very slightly purplish red. We do not know the exact weight of the ruby but estimate it to be between 0.88-1.02ct - the face is certainly of a 1.20-1.30ct stone but it is on the shallow side. Clarity wise the stone presents exceptionally well- the stone is indeed slightly included but such is the saturation of colour that the inclusions are not immediately noticeable. We think that this is one of the very best value 1ct Burma ruby rings we have seen for a long long time.
