A simply magnificent Unheated Lavender Sapphire probably from Sri Lanka weighing an absolutely impressive 3.89ct. The Sapphire is simply gorgeous - a gorgeous lavender hue which at its best, like this example, shows extreme fire and vibrancy. The gem exhibits a colour change from violet to a stronger purple under incandescent lighting. The stone is eye clean and virtually loupe clean as well. Such extremely good clarity in such a large blue sapphire is absolutely rare and absolutely to be collected.
