A wonderful Pastel Light Blue-Grey 8.17ct Star Sapphire & Diamond Platinum Ring . The ring features a stunning star sapphire from the famous gem mines of Mogok in Burma (Myanmar), of a simply wonderful and extremely unusual pastel light blue and grey colour - absolutely gorgeous! As you can see, the gem is grey under normal lighting and light blue or blue-grey when a penlight or direct light is shined on it. It will actually appear more blue under an incandescent light pendant, and more blue-grey under sunlight/daylight. Excellent translucency. The star is six rays and is absolutely stunning! The diamonds total 1.17ct and are of superb quality. The ring comes complete with a brand new cert from a smaller but respected Bangkok laboratory, confirming this is a star sapphire, origin Burma (Myanmar) and with no indication of heating.
