An Exquisite Art Deco Unheated Red Spinel and diamond Platinum Ring dating from c.1935-39 and featuring a gorgeous Unheated spinel almost certainly from Burma, and estimated at 2.00ct approximately . The spinel is a stunning crimson in colour, appearing almost vermilion in sunlight and dark red indoors - absolutely stunning. The spinel is not only eye clean but it is also almost loupe clean as well - this is an extremely lively and bright gem, exceptionally pretty indeed. The diamonds are old cuts totalling 0.25ct approximately , J colour SI1. Size 6 approx. The ring is 10% iridium/ platinum, entirely commensurate with the time period.
