A simply gorgeous and utterly unique Art Deco jewel dated from 1935-1940 Jewel set in solid platinum (10% iridium) and featuring a stunning, completely unheated and untreated Ruby from Mogok in Burma weighing an impressive 1.09ct. The beautifully made ring contains a pair of clean and white baguette cut diamonds of extremely good quality totalling 0.30ct approximately . The diamonds look greyish in some of our pics, but this is caused by reflections - they are absolutely as white as snow and with excellent clarity and cut as well. The star of the show is certainly however the wonderful unheated Ruby which is of a delightful purplish red: the purple hue tends to be more obvious indoors while outside the red comes to the fore. In sunlight or under uv lighting, the stone is simply a burning red fluorescent coal. We have taken pics under booth indoors and sunlight to show the difference.
