Superb Unheated No Heat 2.55ct Burma Burmese Ruby Earrings & GIA Certificate

A Simply lovely matched pair of Unheated Burma Rubies from the famed gem mines of Mogok in Burma (Myanmar) totalling 2.55ct, set in this solid 18k white gold setting and surrounded by total 2ct+ clean and white diamonds. The colour of these magnificent gemstones is a deep almost crimson red, reminiscent of the ‘pigeon’s blood’ hue of yore, absolutely unusual, intriguing and absolutely typically Burmese. Very good colour match and cut from the same rough. Bear in mind that the light in Chicago, as an example, may not be so bright this time of year! Important- these are gorgeous but, at this price point, inevitably not perfect stones. Both gems are obviously included, but transparency, vibrancy and lustre are all very good - these are transparent and not opaque rubies. Matched pairs of unheated Burma rubies are *incredibly* rare due to a host of reasons - try to find a pair that are GIA certified - but these are absolutely the real McCoy,
